The market for creative entertainment products have been growing steadily since 2000 and is projected to continue to be one of the fastest growing sectors in contemporary economies. According to UNESCO, when “cultural services” are included in the calculations, USA is the largest exporter of creative entertainment products; followed by Europe (EU15) which has the leading position in many continents. Also, data suggests that expansion of creative industries has recently been most rapid in Asia. According to the recent projections, Türkiye is expected to become one of the important actors in digital entertainment, especially in the Eastern Europe, Middle-east and the Turkic region in Central Asia.
