Assistant Prof. Dr. C. Ceyhun Arslan of the Department of Comparative Literature has been awarded a Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers. The Research fellowships are given to exceptional researchers from developing or transitional countries who have established a clearly defined research profile with their high-impact international publications and whose research contributes to the development of their country or region of origin.

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation grants research awards and fellowships to outstanding scientists and scholars to complete long-term research stays in Germany. The foundation also maintains close links with its alumni, which includes 59 Nobel Prize winners and researchers from over 140 countries.
