Included topics: readers, writers and production of knowledge; poetry, history and political uses of remembrance; dreams, fortune-telling and establishment of social networks. Examination of recent approaches to the early modern cultural history and Ottoman studies, Ottoman sources in translation, and Ottoman architecture through class trips to historical sites.
